Sunny Hunny's numerous attractions include its very own Princess Theatre.   The theatre building, has gone through many changes over the years - it started life as a hotel, became a cinema and even a Bingo Hall until it was ultimately purchased by the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk in 1981.  To celebrate the marriage of Lady Diana Spencer and the Prince of Wales that same year, the theatre was re-opened and named The Princess Theatre.

Hunstanton's Princess Theatre provides a wide range of entertainment from Variety to Drama, Dance, Music, Pantomime and Films throughout the year and booking early is generally a good idea. The Box Office is open every day of the year (except Christmas Day).

The Theatre is also the main venue for the two week Hunstanton & District Festival of Arts held every June.

Along Hunstanton's promenade (which extends along the coast to Heacham and Snettisham) you will find traditional seaside attractions including pony-rides on the beach and a caricature artist.  In the summer it is alive with throngs of visitors enjoying all that Hunstanton has to offer.

Not far from the Hunstanton Resort Services Office you will spy the sealife sanctuary - well worth a visit at any time of the year.

Cycle hire is available for those who wish to enjoy a bike ride along the promenade or in and around Hunstanton itself.

No seaside resort would be complete without a number of amusement arcades and Hunstanton is no exception - one of them even offers bowling.

In the direction of the large caravan parks and you will find the many fairgrounds operating   There is also a sightseeing boat tours kiosk which offers long and short trips to nearby Seal Island.  These are very popular in the busy summer months - don't forget to make your enquiries early so you don't miss out.

During the summer months, locals and visitors alike can be seen to join in playing Pitch and Putt and, of course, the more serious sports-minded are found on the famous Hunstanton Golf Course or playing bowls and croquet.

The Oasis Leisure Centre, located on the Prom, offers an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, indoor bowls (winter only), squash, gymnasium, tennis, table tennis, skateboarding and more.  To get more information about Oasis call the Tourist Information Centre on (01485) 532610.

With free admission, a visit to The Old Strange Old Barns is a must.  These house one of the largest combined antiques, arts and crafts centre in Norfolk including a vast array of antiques and wonderful water colours.  Visitors are treated to the sight of various craft demonstrations daily throughout the year (except Christmas Day).

Hunstanton, and the sunset coastline of Norfolk, has so much to offer the family on holiday why not come and see for yourself.
